Yeah, as soon as I saw him, I was like "YES! REVENGE!"
It was nice to get that payoff, but at the same time, a bit out of character for this show. The first several seasons were all about the good people getting shat on.

Arya is full-Avenging Angel mode. Ordinarily it would suggest that she'll come to a bad end... but in this show who the hell knows. Good, bad, everybody dies.

So here's a speculation wholly my own, I haven't seen it anywhere.
"I learned a lot from Cersie," Sansa said.
You think she'll have those kids killed anyway, the ones she wanted kicked out of their castles?
I think Jon Snow did the right thing, he avoided a mistake that Robb made, pissing off allies. But this is GoT... I can see them having Sansa do some "blow up the cathedral" shit because she thinks she's smarter than she is.
So there's my big speculation based off the 12 minutes of screentime at Winterfell.

Yup. That's what got me to thinking about it.
I thought Jon Snow made a good decision... finally a Stark did that!
And I think Sansa is going to torpedo it, and Littlefinger is going to laugh.

Here's another original thought: peeps is speculating that in the next episode we will see Arya walk out of a camp of dead Lannister soldiers. Or not.
She accepted their invitation to their camp, and ate their food... she just got done lecturing the Freys about betraying that trust right before she killed them all. If she breaks the Guest Right and kills them.... then we know she is going to die before the show ends.

Yeah, I recognized him. Cuz he's pretty pasty and distinct looking, but I don't know his stuff. I also don't know why he got to be in the show. It seemed pointless.

I don't think so. All the other Lannister soldiers we've seen look like grizzled warriors. And then die like that, appropriately. That group looked like a boy band and was way too polite.
