Make sure you watch the post interview part where the creators talk about the episode.
IMHO, this episode just put the show on a whole different level. It got deep and it got dark. Yet it still had the ability to throw in a visual chuckle right when the mood had been brought way down.

I wonder how they were able to license a Pink Floyd song. I heard that was hard to do.
That was a pretty awesome moment. At least when they license a song they go big.

It's on Max.
There's a "new" anime R&M... supposedly "the same show but with a different animation style."
It's not.
I'm not sure what this was supposed to be. I've never seen a "classic" episode that wasn't a simple beginning ----> end format, telling a story. This is not that. It had a couple cute moments, but this was either "my IQ isn't high enough to understand it," or just kinda sucked.

Episode 2 came out, and I gave it one more shot to make sure I wasn't just having a stroke the first time.
And now I get it. It started right where the last episode left off. This is going to be a single long story, 3-4 hours long or whatever, depending on how long the season is. I guess this is how "anime" is? I've never been well steeped in the style.
Still not hilarious or brilliant yet, though. BUt it was more R&M now knowing what they're doing.
