If I recall correctly, some of the taping was done in a conference setting that they would have had to lie and falsify documentation to be admitted to. So perhaps that is the one that is being pursued. You are totally right about the one in the restaurant; there's no chance that one will go anywhere but right into dismissal.

Everything I saw was in a restaurant setting, other than the clinical footage, which appeared to be deliberate and not concealed.

Was he talking to the owners and misrepresenting himself as someone who cleaned shit for several hours a day? I'm also pretty sure that anyone can go buy a duck or clean shit, but fraudulently claiming to be a medical company is a bit more serious. Furthermore, filming ducks probably gives you a lot more slack than filming people while lying to them.

Yes, because that's exactly the way that law is written.
I get it. Your a hack. That's fine, but don't pretend that you're explaining some sort of fine point of law here. You talking about shit that has zero to do with the law in question. If I pretend to be a janitor and rob a bank, do you think it's better than pretending to be a security guard and robbing a bank? You get zero points.

Sorry to use a pro-life web site as the source, but no other news organizations seem to be reporting much on the actual content of the hearing. Pretty obvious from the testimony coming out that there should be investigations happening on how some of these parts are being procured.

Really weird how interest in this trial fell off the edge of the planet.

It's been horseshit from the beginning. The argument went from "they don't sell organs! It's all out of context!" To "well of course they do otherwise what a waste!". To "they don't take federal money, at least!" To "well they do but it doesn't pay for that half of the business!"
I guess at this point they'll just media blackout, because they can.
