When it comes to Elon, Catt sometimes reminds me of Malcolm.
Ok, Twitter employees didn't kill people, but other than that, yes. It's been proven a million times over that Twitter openly engaged in silencing conservatives and anything that did not line up with the narratives they pushed. Hunter's laptop? Squashed. Defiant Ls, an account that does nothing more than repost what other people post? Constantly suspended. Libs of TikTok, again just reposting actual posts? Constantly suspended. Everything covid that was proven true? Squashed. Calls for violence during 2020 riots? Left up. (Considering people used Twitter to organize some of the riots, I believe it could be argued that by their inaction on this stuff, they are at least partially responsible for lives lost and property destroyed. Any criticism of LGBQT+ people even when 100% valid? Squashed and banned. Any criticism of whites, straights, and men and calls for violence against them? Left up. Posting actual video of a CNN producer discussing how they manipulate their audience? That account gets permanently banned. And the list goes on endlessly. Multiple politicians and news orgs on the right were banned. Nobody on the left was banned, ever.
Yay! An admission. FYI, I genuinely don't give two fucks that you don't like him. I am curious about the "why", but not for any reason other than general curiosity. He's not someone I hate, but I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him.
So prove me wrong. Show me some billionaires or sports GOATs that aren't assholes. BTW, Michael Jordan and the field of psychiatry agree with me. And understand, it's not that they're "awful human beings", but they are going to be far more likely to choose the asshole option in given situations. As Michael Jordan put it (paraphrasing), "You have to be an asshole to want the ball at the end of game." Tom Brady abandoned his wife and kids for football.
I don't agree. He's using two assets to help each other. That's synergy, free or not.
Ha! I completely forgot he had taken it private. My bad. Although, I have zero doubt it'll go public again once he gets it to where ever he thinks it needs to be.
Exactly why I've been so curious about his hate for the man. Catt is usually quite rational, but when it comes to Elon that all goes out the window.
Ingredients, maybe. Unfortunately, we'll never know without seeing the menu and spread. I'm guessing they weren't handing out boxed lunches. I picture far more of a cafeteria/buffet setting with professional chefs, not cooks.
I was just posting "both sides." I don't have the details, but I also don't necessarily trust Elon (see the 1,000 RPCs claim, which feels absurd at first blush). Feels like they could save $$ just having a massive Door Dash order each day
Is that legit the definition of synergy?
Yes, in shorthand.
the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.
He read the part of The Prince about making change quickly, but forgot the parts about Reputation, Generosity, avoiding flatterers, avoiding contempt and hatred.
It's why I'm so perplexed as to how some billionaires became billionaires. Yeah, the work ethic and good ideas take you far, but at some point you need to be decent to people right?
Well, this will be interesting, at the least. From: Elon Musk

Going forward, to build a breakthrough Twitter 2.0 and succeed in an increasingly competitive world, we will need to be extremely hardcore. This will mean working long hours at high intensity. Only exceptional performance will constitute a passing grade.
Twitter will also be much more engineering-driven. Design and product management will still be very important and report to me, but those writing great code will constitute the majority of our team and have the greatest sway.
At its heart, Twitter is a software and servers company, so l think this makes sense.

Anyone who has not done so by 5pm ET tomorrow (Thursday) will receive three months of severance.
Whatever decision you make, thank you for your efforts to make Twitter successful.

Honestly, why not? Have that section behind a paywall. "TwitterAfterDark.com"
He should have STARTED with that letter, not with just shitcanning randoms.
