New season was probably the worst, but still above most other shows. Definitely well below Season 2 and 3.

Maybe it's because of Justin Roiland's legal troubles?

I actually heard they made an effort to add a bunch of women writers.

Which is weird because of all the incest stuff that season.

I'm guessing R&M may be done.

Some reeeeeally creepy shit is starting to come out about him sexting underage girls.

They can revoice R&M. They can also hire more writers.

The real question will be about making it so he cannot profit from the show.

They might be able to find someone who can mimic the voice to where you don't notice it much (ever heard Mel Blanc's kid do Bugs Bunny? Kinda sucks), but it feels like about half the humor was him being drunk during recording and ad-libbing lines. Not as easily replaced.

The same company still employs Ezra Miller whose list of crimes far exceeds Roiland's. They also still employ spouse abuser Amber Heard.

Someone explain to me where the line is and why it applies differently depending on who you are.

And FYI, not defending Roiland. I just find the way they choose who to punish and who not to punish is fascinating.

I think Ezra is straight-up, certifiably mentally ill, and picking on him is just mean and possibly a violation of the ADA.

I'd like to remind everyone that Sean Penn once tied up Madonna and beat her.

Hollywood's selective punishments are odd.

Again, not defending Roiland, just find Hollywood's lack of action on some and immediate action on others perplexing.

........ tying up women and beating them is wrong? Even when they want it and won't say their safe word?

Troubling.

I'm very curious how it will be without Justin.

I heard that all the incest stuff was coming from the new female writers, though.

Women love incest. Or, maybe that was just my experience.

The Emmy-winning sci-fi comedy is coming back Sunday, Oct. 15, at 11 p.m. Like previous recent seasons, the new season will include 10 episodes.

There's a trailer with the new voice actors. blah blah blah

Morty sounds exactly the same.

Rick is more of a mixed bag. They mostly nail it, but in the moments of higher pitches it is clearly not Rick's OG voice.

Couldn't they just have an AI do it? :)

Honestly, yes.

However, I'm pretty sure this is one of the primary reasons why the actors are currently striking.

Also, legally I think no because the AI would steal Roiland's voice.
