He hasn't turned down his accent much at all. I've heard worse, but every now and then I can't understand something he says.

Out with the parents, brother, and niece at a hibachi joint. Niece has a homemade "bad wolf" cap.

Good girl.

Not homemade, apparently. Looked like it from a distance. Up close, it was easily identified as machine stitching.

Could still be semi-homemade. Those custom stitching machines are getting to be common.

Unless it looked exactly like this one. Then it wasn't homemade at all.

Just watched the Christmas episode.

I think that may be my fave episode since Capaldi took over.

So far I am enjoying this season more than I did last season. The latest Doctor seems more stable and settled... last season he felt a little undercooked the entire time.

Is that a possible spin-off series I smell?

And where was Jack?

I only just Faced the Raven last night.

I hate it when all your shows' new seasons start at the same time.

Didn't the Face of Boe die in Gridlock?

Four and a half billion years... I like when they go big in this show.

Oh, right, I forgot about that. Fair enough.

The season that just ended... I liked that new companion, but after the 4th time the show made sure everyone knew she was a lesbian I started rolling my eyes. I think it happened at least once per episode, the entire season, and even in the last episode it was the entire the focus of a conversation at least once. It makes me wonder what the showrunners intended, because it went a long way to cementing her legacy as a companion to "the lesbian one," not the "super clever one" she was in the first episode. *golf clap*

Plus they managed to slam Trump at least every other episode. Way to make sure this season keeps being all about time and space and not american politics 2017.

BTW it's significant because after 50 years they just decided a Time Lord can turn into a Time Lady.

I thought they could only regenerate 12 times? Does that make this the last Doctor?

There was a thing 2 doctors ago, he got a new set of regernations.

And technically this is the 14th Doctor, I don't know why they didn't renumber them when they threw the War Doctor into the mix.

The 5th Doctor said making him into a woman meant a loss of a role model for boys.

SJW fans attacked him so hard he quit Twitter.

BBC America is playing fuckfuck games with the DVR.

I saw there was a new 3 minute "Doctor WHo" recording on there, and the description was "More insight into the new Doctor's regeneration." So ok, I watch it.

It is literally 12 seconds of the show runner saying, "The new regeneration was brilliant... the new Doctor's a woman! This changes the whole show!" And then a 3 minute commercial for Blue Planet II.

Not cool, BBCA.
