No comment... but remember that comment.
Snow and Blondie.
Just stuck together.

I finished the last book last night. Anyone want to hear a ton of spoilers?

If you are going to do that, let's make two separate spoiler threads. One for talking show spoilers and one for talking book spoilers.
I'm all up for talking current and doing uninformed speculation on the show but want no part of book spoilers.

It is nice to have nothing more than can possibly be spoilered.

Did you get a torrent of it? Share the wealth instead of posting spoilers that do nobody any good

Well, well, I think we now know the secret of valyrian steel.

Valyrian steel has also been called dragon steel. And then there's the dragon glass.
Seems they're weak to attacks from things that have been flamed by dragons. Someone go take apart Harrenhal, because every brick of it can kill a white walker.

What was Stannis's island paradise... Stormhold or something? Wasn't it already made of dragon glass?

Storm End's, I believe, which has been mentioned a few times as conveniently full of dragon glass.

That'll work. Take tons of that along to act as shrapnel bombs in the catapults on top of the Wall. Resurface the tunnels through the Wall with bricks from Harrenhal. Grind some of that glass and stone into super-fine powder to be released as clouds of floating death to hang in the air just north of the Wall (like chemical warfare against white walkers).
There's still the army of the dead to deal with, of course. They weren't shattering on his sword.

I have a feeling the WWs have a nuclear option all ready to deal with the Wall, otherwise what would the point be? There's going to be a big buildup, and they are going to end up easily streaming through. Hardhome was foreshadowing.

No, Storm's End is the Baratheon family castle. Stannis held that for Robert during Robert's rebellion. It's on the mainland of Westeros, but is next to the sea.
After Robert became king, Stannis was made lord of Dragonstone, which is the island that has dragonglass. Also the island where Dany was born, during a hellacious storm.

That's my super-power: remember stuff I've read.
Yes, I've read the goddamn books. Except the last one I mostly skimmed.

Me too, but I draw blanks mostly because I am always thinking about pornography.
The other day in a different conversation I couldn't remember Davos's name. I kept calling him Onion Knight and it never came to me until like an hour later.
