Is farm land different from housing land? As in, are the places you can farm, but not house?

yes. These spots that you are seeing fill up are *ALL* spots. You can throw anything down there. They are definetly the best and most valuable.
Some places are only farms, or large farms, or large houses, or .....
There are full pvp islands(maps looks like 6-7?) in the ocean that are probably filling up right now.

Have a human 16x16 and two 8x8 farms down in two Crowns. Can't place my second small in Two Crowns, i would guess.
There are hidden house spots all over the place. There are either signs for them or when you are trying to place a house you see them.
Still crowded as hell.

Tried scouting south to halcyoa, all full and red faction FURRIES. How did the furries already get here.

finally got to get back. Sick family took a good portion of my gaming away this afternoon. I've got about a 50 min que right now! FUCK!
Just read everything that you guys wrote, looks like we'll have to take houses and farms wherever we can get them. I'm level 8 right now and got 8-10GS. anyone getting in teamspeak tonight?

Land is super scrace out there. It seems like they made houses too easy to get.
I wonder if the majority of people are rolling West?

I've seen 20s as the number of Korean servers. I wonder if that's accurate. How long before we get that many?

I was never able to find a lick of land to place my house. I searched even the farthest reaches of the continent, and nothing. This was after I waited an hour to get in, play ten minutes, game crashes and wait another hour.
More servers are needed in a bad way. Now this will piss off a lot of patrons, because then what's the point of an early start if any non patron can get premier land. But I don't care, it needs to be done.
Some land will open up when the northern PvP continent is open. Infact I guess many of the larger guilds will leave for there in attempts to build and control the castles. Also, many people are just hoarding right now and they won't be able to pay their land taxes. So I'm guessing it will get a little better, but will this offset the influx of the new F2P people coming in?
So I didn't get any houses or farms out down. A part of me wishes I didn't get the house and just saved the GS for a clipper (boat).

Seeing reports this same thing happened.in Korea and Russia. Eventually they opened new servers. for now we can do the trade quests and put large farms in some of the space I saved.

When they open new servers, they can delay f2p players from logging in the 4 days. However, there will be land rushes on all the servers unless they say you can only have houses on one server or one per server per character or something. This is the uo housing crunch, except in 3 bours instead of 3 years. Just goes to show how hungry players are for housing.

Grapes are profitable as hell. Just sold an extra 30 on the auction house for 6 gold. Two small farms producing them right now.
Need them for step one of trade quest.

have you dropped your small farm yet? Buy grapevines saplings and planting them in that works.
Not sure how to share farms without the guild option yet. What is a "family"??
