Indeed. It's a nice idea and has had some interesting impacts on people. But there's just not enough game in that game.

I just remembered I had an article a few days back, that's been lost to cut and pasting, about Pokemon Go losing 15 million daily players in the last month or so. Ouch.

Yeah, seems inevitable. There's only so much to do in the game, and new features aren't being added. Player base down from 45M to 33M. Eh... that's gonna happen, it was a fad/craze, people are going to leave. I'm still playing, but just pokestops + collecting things while walking, no battles. they take too long.

I'm back to trying to get my 10,000+ steps/day on my FitBit, so I run the game while walking, but that's about it. I did find an interesting way to cheat a little. I have an old phone onto which I loaded the game, and a scanner app, using a different account. It just sits on Wifi, and alerts me if rare Pokemon show up. If they do, I go for a walk and find them. Have found 3 new Pokemon this way in the past day.

Still alive. Two doctors have now inquired as to whether I've been diagnosed with asthma before (No). So whenever my congestion/sinuses/whatever clear up, I have to get a lung function test.

They started a Halloween event last night, with lots of Pokemon, particularly a set of 10 "spooky" ones show up. Lots of Pokemon, and some rare ones. My current goal is to find all the Pokemon, and keep walking more.
