That pretty much happened to me for a while when I thought about sex after my divorces.

That explains a bit.

Over the weekend each season of B5 was $19.99 at Best Buy. I picked up seasons 2-5. I'll get to start watching them in may, hopefully.

Sale may still be happening. Dunno.

In the middle of season 2.

The new station commander was a 'WTF?' Made me wonder if the season 1 commander quit unexpectedly, or something.

And my god, the acting has been terrible so far this season... I can't believe this show stayed on the air. Just so wooden and forced.

Well, the acting from the 'earthlings,' anyway. I saw a good performance from the snake head guy when his people were attacked.

Keep going, it's worth it.

Further comments must not be made until you finish the series.

Yes watch the whole series. Everything ties together. G'Kar has some of the best scenes. I can pick up the series from the Haji mart for $20 American. Hell I can pick up any series for that much

Ha, "Haji mart."

But yes, I have purchased all 5 seasons, so I'll keep going.

I might watch season 1 of Heroes in there somewhere to break it up a little, though. maybe.

G'Kar is also the one-armed dude from "The Fugitive." No, really. And Tomoluk from ST:tNG.

I suddenly figured out, once she had hair, that the cocoon-chick is Roussou, from Lost.

Oh yeah! And if pressed, I'd say he was the best actor, so far.

Shit. He's from the cesspool, too. Unbelievable.

"The Psi Corp is your friend. Trust the Corp."

I spent about 5 minutes trying to freeze-frame that almost-subliminal message.

I remember back in the day I had the fortune to tape that episode. I did the exact same thing.

Just watched the season 2 episode where Talia Winters has her personality replaced by that Psicorps.... personality-replacer-thing.

Someone please tell me Talia and Ivanova had sex the night before the personality swap.

Welp, just finished season 2.

Amazing the "Minister of Peace" didn't know the significance of the phrase he used, "There will be peace in our time."

And I wonder if this show could be made today. In 1995 it was still politically correct to end a season of a tv show with the line, "Sometimes 'peace' is another word for 'surrender,'" said without irony. In a world that loves The Obamessiah, that would cause an uproar.

just watched the season 3 episode with Brad Dourif, the episode with the monk that ended up being a personality-wiped serial killer.

Brad's presence alone raised the overall acting ability of the entire cast by 42%.

Something of a shame he'll be remembered mainly for those damned Child's Play films.

Nah, I think of him first as Wormtongue from LotR, and secondly as Doc Cochrane, from Deadwood. Or, "Doc Fuckin' Cochrane," as Calamity Jane called him.

"You are one entangled inebriate."

"So they (ancient race of aliens) understand our language, they just refuse to speak it..."

"Who knew they were french?"

This new combo nazi/soviet stuff... political officers, nightwatch... has me really hoping that B5 declares itself independant of the earth government. That would kick ass.

Rebirth Ceremony:

Ivanova: I think I loved Talia.

Ha! Called it.

For those who don't know why that is so awesome, here's Talia and Ivanova.
