Is there a remake being planned at the moment?
The Island which is out today seems to be very similar to Logan's Run.
That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the trailer.
It does seem similar but the Island is actually a remake of 1979's Parts: The Clonus Horror, which was honored by being MST3k'd. So yes as we all know even hollywoods most hyped films of the year (this and War of the Worlds) are still remakes. I heard they were remaking Clonus a little over a year ago and when I saw this trailer last week I knew exactly what it was... gave me a good long laugh.
