Funny that he (or she?) challenged me to "move past your preconceived notions," but he or she came in here with their own preconceived notions about us.
Would it help you if I clarified and said "move past your preconceived notions about this movie"?

Militant, not to be confused with of or belonging to the Military.

$21.8M. I had expected more, actually. That's less than 3 million people. But Moore will nevertheless claim it's a plurality of some sort.

He was on 60 minutes last night, being served the fattest softball questions ever. He was sorta funny/entertaining, but I still have the "documentary" issue.

Interesting, considering only about 70 people are killed (on average) each year by lightning in the US.

Lesse, 3000 were killed in just that year... so lightning needs about 42 years to catch up.

Well, don't forget that lightning has had 200 years to stock up on deaths....soo 200x70=14,000. So there, 14,000>3,000.

That was sarcasm for those who aren't familiar with my views...

I just love how Democrats can write off 3,000 innocent deaths but then call Republicans callous to the suffering of the little man.

You know, I keep hearing people say, "When you start believing that people who have different views from you are morons, or are mentally defective, then you are officially an extremist."

I'm totally at that point.

Yeah, nerd, but at least I recognize the condition, and am introspective enough to try to understand why I feel the way I feel.

Unlike the deeply flawed liberal left. :D :p :D

Leading Patriot Michael Moore, on September 15, 2001:
I feel I have a responsibility as one of those Americans who doesn't feel good right now to speak out and say what needs to be said: That we, the United States of America, are culpable in committing so many acts of terror and bloodshed that we had better get a clue about the culture of violence in which we have been active participants. I know it's a hard thing to hear right now, but if I and others don't say it, I fear we will soon be in a war that will do NOTHING to protect us from the next terrorist attack.

"Sorry 'bout you 3000 peeps in NY, but we had it coming."

I'll be the first to say I can't vouch for the veracity of the source.

At any rate, by all means keep idolizing him, those to whom it applies.
