If you want to work for Ford, you pay the union $2k up front.
At least that was what I was told by the wife's family members who work for Ford.

Not to work for Ford. To buy his way into the union to work for Ford. I know someone that paid 500$ for his laborer card to work a shut down at BP. Made around 30,000 for 4 months work. Now he pays 50$ a year plus dues if he works.

There's no one part of this article I can pull out, the whole thing is awesome.

Could a unit of Marines have taken down the entire Roman Empire?

edit - Got to the end, it aint done. And it isn't a logical breakdown of force v force, it is sort of like fan fiction. Reminds me of Turtledove. So you can probably skip it.

Wait, new? I drive by that building at least twice a year, figured it'd always been there.
Does that shape have significance?
*edit* Googled it, got it. Would not have gotten that without a big hint.

Well, built in 2006, sorta new.
And the shape is a stylized representation of the raising of the flag on Mt. Suribachi. Very well done, in my opinion.

Ahhh. I got my Redskins seasons tickets in 2006, so that explains it.
Yes, well done.

Pohle later told deputies that he had gone inside his parents' home and found Christopher Schwanke, 43, in his mom and dad's bedroom.

He's been doing things since he was what, 16 maybe, if I'm being generous with the math? How the fuck long does it take?
