I didn't want to spend $1k on the top of the line dual-core athalons... this MB can handle them. So in a year or 2, when prices have dropped a lot, I still have plenty of room for upgrading.Why deluxe on the motherboard? Just curious. The plain SLI seemed plenty to me.
