I don't really do Linux. When I partitioned my drive, I made a D: partition for some Linux OS (C: is Win98, F: is XP Pro), but I never got around to installing anything there.
No, it won't mess anything up in XP. One thing that you will have to watch is what filesystem is used on the partition. If you are using fat32 you're good to go. As far as I know there are no drivers in Linux that can read and write to NTFS (NT or XP).

Now if you delete the wrong thing. That's another story...
Wadda mean? Other people can read this?!

Oh, well that doesn't do me a lot of good then. Just about everything is NTFS nowdays. I have several boot disks for getting into FAT32 drives.

As for Gordon's Image. I used to dress a lot like Bill, and I'd hit Circle K about 4-5 days a week.

If your computer is screwing up, my first guess is spyware. An overwhelming majority of computers brought into the shop have spyware causing problems.

You can try Microsoft Antispyware Beta, the antispyware on the Yahoo Toolbar, Spy Sweeper, Ad-Aware, and Spybot Search & Destroy.

Pick one and run it. If you're clean, or it only finds cookies, then forget about running the rest. If it finds a bunch of stuff though, then download another and run it. If it finds more download another and run it. Etc.

What do you mean it was the only one accepted?
Download them all, start in Safe Mode, then try running them.

I know Ad-Aware will install in Safe Mode because I did that all the time. I think all the others can as well. I don't remember.
