Did you pull the sparkplug wire before you removed the blade? You do know that they can kick and cut you if you spin them to much while changing.GORDON wrote:Mine was quick and easy, just a socket wrench and a 5/6" socket. Even my push mower isn't that hard. Have removed the blade a few times to sharpen it. Just a socket and wrench.

I'm so fucking manly though that if it did that the blade would just bend against my arm.
But in reality on the riding mower only the blade pully spins, it isn't cranking the engine. Even if the engine were to somehow start, the fact that the deck isn't engaged means the blades wouldn't spin.
