Shit. These fuckers are taking advantage for my compulsory purchases of collector's editions.

If it were a cyberdemon figure, I'd be on board. I will forever recall encountering that fucker the first time. I heard him long before I saw.

Average campaign length is ... 13 hours, says creator. Seems kind of short to me.

The videos for the game on Steam look incredible.

However, 13 hours is WAY too short for a $60 game.

I'll buy it in a few years when it's more reasonably priced, like $10.

For some reason they are selling this to amazon prime members for $25 off, so I just pre-ordered.

I'm playing this now since the arrival of my new system (top 2% bitches!).

That PA comic is hilariously accurate regarding the plot and how some hippie would describe it.

So far it's gorgeous and fun. I even streamed it one night to test that out and had two viewers, Stranger and some random. I'm only halfway through the story and I'm on pace for a lot more than 13 hours. However, a major reason for that is I'm going for 100% completion which means finding all the secrets and items. Thus, I'm replaying levels to go back and do things I missed the first time. This helps with powering up weapons (the new system is pretty cool), which really helps because some of the fights are brutal.

Expect to move a lot as most fights have you in a confined area. If you're not moving, you're dying.

That joke I posted about him being the traumatic event is the truth. In Hell, they tell their kids stories about the Doomslayer.

Just finished it last night with 100% completion. I found every secret, collected every collectible, mastered every weapon, powered up my armor fully, etc. Fun, fun, fun, and gorgeous game. Just creepy enough. Just enough action. Even late in the game when I was uber powered some fights would still get me if I wasn't paying attention. (Thanks to the confined spaces.)

The glory kills are a welcome addition and hilariously brutal. Especially when you have a berserker power up. Imagine grabbing an Imp by the head and just ripping it in half... Awesome. A little tough to get variety on some of the bigger beasts. Also, a very smartly designed timer for them, which forces you in close.

If you have ever enjoyed an FPS, this game is a must buy. I doubt the multiplayer game has life still, if it ever did, but the solo campaign is just plain violent, gory fun.

It is beautiful, which usually means big files.
