Disney did a hail mary and spent a lot for a last minute buy of reviewers (nice magazine you got there, it would be a shame if we stopped advertising in it), so they've all been glowing, so let's see if it will help in the long run.

Before the movie was in production, some interviewer asked Peter Dinklage about the 7 dwarves and he shit all over the potential of casting little people. He used the justification that they're just people and roles like this are demeaning. Disney took his word as gospel. Remember, this was during the height of woke BS. Other little people claim Dinklage is an asshole and this was him pushing over the ladder he climbed up so nobody else could climb it.
Disney replaced the dwarves, prior to production, with "the 7 magical people" and one of them is a little person. However, after getting laughed off the internet when images of that group leaked and the concept of not having the dwarves in the movie, not to mention failed test screenings, Disney reversed course and added the 7 dwarves, however instead of casting little people, they went with CGI.
