Eh... What are they gonna do? steal my trial account? I will probably change it, but it is a very interesting program.

I'm going to see about building my own though.
We need a web app or something so we can switch skills to train. That would whoop ass.

Alright. Before too long, I should've analytical mind, instant recall, & learning all up to 3. What sort of combat/ship skills should I be going for? I'll've about a mil to waste on outfitting a Merlin when I'm done.

I'll defer to Troy/Cake on what you SHOULD do.

Here is what I have done:
Electronics - 1
Engineering - 2
Sheild Operation - 1
Shield Upgrades - 2
Industry - 1 (cant remember why)
Mechanic - 1
Hull Upgrades - 2
Repair Systems - 1
Missle Launder Operation - 2
Standards Misles - 2
Afterburners - 1
Navigation - 2
Social - 3 (for better pay from agents)
Negotiation - 2 (for better pay from agents)
ECM Warfare - 2

Looks like training to 1 takes about 30-45 min, 2 is 1.5 - 2 hrs, 3 is ~8 hrs. I'm getting these times for most of my skills.

It's a factor of skill lv and rank.

Rank is linear:
Rank 2 skills take twice as long per skill level as Rank 1
Rank 3 skills take 3x as long per skill level as Rank 1.
etc...

Skill levl is geometric like.
1: 30 minutes; 2 : 2 hours: 3: 8 hours... etc

Those two combined equal training time.

Don't you get time knocked off for attribute bonuses & 2% per faster per level of learning?
