I've been wanting to multi it since it came out. You were too busy whining about how shitty your PC was. Leave the expansion off for a bit, and I'll multi you. I haven't played in months though. So, now's your chance to beat me.

I haven't played it in about a year, and barely played it then due to its being a slideshow.
Just spend the $20 on the expansion.

How about you don't install the update until I do get it!? And actually, I'll wait to see if you are actually going to play this time before I commit.

I've seen you 3, maybe 5 times in TF2, total. You've lost your trash-talking privileges on this point.

I'll be installed and patched up by tonight. Expansion wont arrive for another day or 2. I'll probably play a few solo games to relearn stuff.

85% of my game time is spent playing online games. So, I have more rights than anyone else.
I wish you had loaded your system correctly a year ago so SC would have worked for you like it did for me on the same hardware. I'm interested to see if it's any better for you now. It really did work fine for me back then. Let me know if it's playable for you now, and then I'll work on getting it loaded.

I haven't played a game yet, but the opening scenes and stuff look perfect with graphics maxed, and dual-screened. That's already better than it used to be.

I bet it's more cause you are aren't running WinXP64 or Linux or Mac OS X or whatever you were running before, than because of your new hardware.

Game runs as smooth as silk, dual monitor. Just skirmished for a couple hours.
And you're wrong about the x64 being the problem.

Ok. Then how come you dumped it? I thought it was cause games were running like shit and we couldn't figure out why. Then you mentioned that you ran x64 and everyone on the board moaned and said 'duh'.
Oh, and I say again. . . it ran fine on my system, which was the same as yours, from day one.

Yeah, I dumped it trying to fix a problem with Half Life 2, and I still had the same problem on Win32.
So shut up.

Wrong again. I had the sound card. Been thinking about putting it in this new system to see what happens.

Ya. But you switched to Vista. hehehe
And you've been playing TF2, which implied you didn't have the problem.

Right. Without the sound card.
Last machine: Vista32, sound card, problem.
God I feel like an idiot arguing with you about this. You just tricked me into arguing, didn't you.

I actually read the SupCom instruction manual fo the first time today while I ate lunch.
Several, "Oh.... THAT'S how you do that" moments...

I want to play this game sooo bad.
But it would require a better computer on my end.
I think I could get everything I needed for about 600 bucks from newegg...
basically means I need to wait until the end of the month, and my next bonus.

Vista says the game requires a computer with a rating of 4.0, recommends a 5.0. I have a 5.4. Cake has a 4.6, IIRC.

Where do I find my magical computer rating?
