I kinda like these shows. I like the topic of sex.
However, as an HBO representative noted "there hasn’t been a strong demand for this kind of adult programming, perhaps because it’s easily available elsewhere"
I don't know where there's content like this. There's porn of all kinds, but nothing quite like this, imho.

That's dumb. Not like having another hard drive with the content was costing them anything. Nothing like building your content library by offering less content.

Agree. Porn is different from shows discussing sexuality. Hell, I'd argue we NEED the shows discussing sexuality because porn is ruining the sex lives of people all over the world.

They may just vault it, ala Disney.

Yes, a very 1990s strategy.

Yes, show the sad lives of porn addicts as a warning to others. Explore poly stuff + swinging, etc.
Also, make erotic movies that aren't porn, but also show more than boobs + butts, but with some plot.

Maybe the problem is that HBO has 2 or 3 decades of shows that say there are 2 sexes, with occasional aberrations to that rule. And that doesn't fly any more.

The executive who made that decisions easily made more than I will in my entire life during 2023-2025.

Word on the street is that it literally was just 1 power-tripping exec who wanted it to be Max, despite all the opposition.

I saw a video once from a graphic designer showing how an amateur graphic designer would make all the letters the same size. But, in reality, an O looks better being slightly larger than other letters for some reason.
No idea about the B.

Yeah, people in the comments were also mentioning the O issue. What's weird is when the screen is paused, the O looks smaller to me, yet it's actually larger. A natural optical illusion.
The H and B were absolutely wrong though. They should be lined up. If intentional, the difference would be far greater.
