Admittedly, ever since Apple made their "computers" able to run Windows I have seen some techs using them. It's still amazing that Apple had to allow their machines to run their biggest competitor's OS just to make them worth having.

The absolute worst tech I ever worked with used an Apple. He also happened to make shitty music in his spare time. I'm quite certain those things are related.

IT people are plumbers. Software devs are creators

95% of software development doesn't take much more than a pretty screen, fast CPU and some RAM.

I use a Dell XPS 15. It's like the Mac Book Pro, but with more RAM + CPU. But still only 4lbs at 15"

When I travel I use a Surface Book 2.

Is that a U-class or real processor? Dell XPS 15 is my daily, travel or home.

Wife and I plan to watch this at some point. Was trying to figure out if the kids might like it.

My kid has never watched ST:TNG. That first season was too corny, even for an 8 year old. Therefore, he'd have no appreciation yet for this show.
