Wife hasn't read it.

Right now I am just letting a handful of people read it for editing purposes "Find mistakes/things that don't make sense." But so far, so good. I went over and over it myself about 10 times.

I'll give you the advance copy when I need to gather up good reviews prior to publishing.

Hoping to have it available on Kindle by December 1. There might even be an audio book by then.

And it def isn't a YA book. It is very rapey.

I was surprised there were people in the "book" club I am going to hit up for the early reviews... that don't read books. They will only listen to the audio versions.

She would finish your trilogy in an evening. I'd get an honest opinion out of her by saying it's an acquaintance's work.

I don't need an honest opinion, I know it's good. I just need free proofreading, and good initial reviews for Amazon for launch day.

I thought it was pretty amazing before it was even done. I asked my early readers to check it out, "I know I am biased and could be deluding myself, but let me know if it is as good as I think it is.". So far all signs point to yes, it is.

All of the voices I heard when I was writing this story... the characters whispering in my ear, telling me what happened... I am either channeling dead people, or yeah, I have a lot of feminine split personalities.

Personally I think I'm channeling dead people, telling a story that actually happened a long time ago. There have been signs.

I've had more than one sleepless night since I started writing in which I was wondering this. These characters seem to like whispering new plot details at me when I'm swimming laps, of all times.

But it all appears to be working for me, I just got back from a lunch/meeting with the people I have editing/proofreading, and the consensus is that it's a great book. They like the characters, like the stories, and I just gave them unpolished copies of the 2nd and 3rd books, because they were all demanding it. And more importantly, they do NOT consider it to be erotica, so thankfully I made it very clear that it was abuse, not sex. As it started out as a smut book, and then I went back and rewrote it, so I'm glad that distinction is sharp. Don't want to get banned on amazon. Well, my mom thought it was erotica, but she was the only one.

December 1 may be a little ambitious as a launch date, though. But maybe.

Lots of women have rape fantasies. And, men, too, I guess.
