I decided to not worry about it.
The server has been running on the new drives for a couple days now so I just popped in to see how things are going. NOW that drive is showing the proper free space.
No idea how that happened. Only thin theory is that cleaning up the other drives freed up space in the server backups, which worked itself out over a couple days of backups, IF that's what that drive is used for, which I think it is.
