I really don't give a shit if she's lying or not. I was just having fun with that last post. Although, does her story mention them asking her to provide credentials? .
Yes.
I don't remember. If it does, I think she undersold the importance of that
I agree that her version is one-sided, and probably distorted. Yes, she mentions that they asked for her credentials, she did not have them. She claims the other guy showed up without credentials and they believed him.

She claims the other guy showed up without credentials and they believed him.
And the airline says he did.
So whether they're lying or she is will never be proven, and thus, this is a non-story.
It may not be a hoax, but it also isn't what she was trying to imply.

Yes, I concur that the truth is somewhere in the middle, but not a hoax.

I guess it isn't technically a "hoax" if she truly believes she was discriminated against.

I'm willing to believe that the flight attendant jumped to conclusions regarding the 28-yo black woman being a doctor, but that the 28-yo black doctor was misconstruing what ensued via the lens of being pissed off about being discriminated against, and viewed the credentials request as further discrimination, rather than an appropriate (and trained) response from the flight attendant.

She was more concerned about being disrespected than she was about the health of the patient. It's a bullshit story. Just like the Clock Boy story. And just like the Clock Boy story, the truth won't be as widely known as the original "RAAAAAAACIST!" story.

Refresh me on the true story of Clock Boy?

He bought a clock from Radio Shack, cracked it open, put the innards in a shoe box, then brought it to his school ... where logic, reason, and measured responses are forbidden.

And also his father is an anti-anti-Muslim agitator, and this stunt was obviously intended to LOOK LIKE A BOMB.

Clearly something a racist would say.

I should adjust my statement....
I think there are more people crying RACIST! than there are white racists.

My joke would still apply.
In terms of actual numbers, I don't know how correct you are, but the intent of your statement is correct. I know a LOT of honkies (honkeys?) and I've never, ever heard a single one discuss not hiring someone or purposely discriminating against someone because of the color of their skin. Am I saying it doesn't happen? No. Obviously it does, but it doesn't happen to the extent that the MSM and folks like Al Sharpton would have you believe.
Have I heard off color jokes? Of course. (And don't let black people lie to you and say they don't do that. "White people smell like dogs when they're wet" isn't a real belief/punchline because nobody tells it...)
I do want to point out that I'm middle aged. I'm a professional with a family. You want to know what I hear now whenever race is brought up? Anger. Whitey is getting sick and tired of being told non-stop that he's the cause of all racism. The root of all evil in the country. He's getting fed up with his kids being indoctrinated. He's frustrated with how people pretend racism is only a white thing and minorities are perfectly innocent in all situations.
You keep screaming racism at every chance and it's going to become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
