Does the source of the number matter? If there's a glitch where families have been cashing checks for long dead relatives, shouldn't it stop? Shouldn't we also be going after the people committing the fraud? Why are we picking on the people finding the errors and how they are presenting the information instead of supporting the fix for the issue?

I also laugh at them chalking all of this up as a 'win'. The numbers they are talking about are soooooo small in the grand scheme of things. So yes, they are blowing these wins WAY out of proportion. But maybe, just maybe, all of this digging will eventually hit pay dirt and we can start ending some serious waste.

I laugh at their "We stopped 76 million going to foreign aid!!" 76 million is about 1/1000 of a percent of the national budget. If they find 76 million a day, They might reduce the budget by 1% by the end of Trump's term! Whoohoo!! BUT, if we can expose corruption and hold the participants accountable, THAT would be something. But that will happen right after the Epstein files are taken care of.

OH, well, actually, we spent more than 800 billion OVER the budget last year. So 76 million in savings a day won't even balance the budget, let alone reduce it.
