Black 17 yo, Karmelo Anthony, takes a knife to a school track meet, knowingly sits in someone else's tent, when asked to move tells them to make him, as one kid goes to try Karmelo pulls out a knife and stabs the kid through the heart.
He claims self-defense. Every witness said his life was not in danger by any stretch of the imagination nor did any massive physical altercation lead to the stabbing. He has shown zero remorse.
Black people come to his defense and want "justice" for him thinking he's innocent despite him telling police he 100% did this. They raise $500K via a GoFundMe.
Karmelo and his family use that money to buy a $150K Cadillac Escalade and rent a house in a gated community.
This was after a black female judge lowered his bond so his family could get him out of jail. Again, this is a confessed murderer.
Fuck every single person who donated to this asshole's legal defense, and I hope they're livid seeing what the money has been spent on.

I'm pretty strong on Karmelo was looking for a confrontation to stab someone. Metcalf did NOT strike or hit Karmelo. Karmelo verbally challenged him to "make him move" while standing in/on Metcalf's property. Metcalf "touched or grabbed" Karmelo to do just that and was murdered. That's not self-defense, literally, by the definition of law.

I've heard conflicting stories that the kid was bullied by the ones he stabbed, and this was his way of fighting back. I don't know anything of consequence, aside from his family blew the defense fund that was donated. But that isn't necessarily the kid's fault. So I haven't taken a side.
