Orientation for volunteer divers at the Toledo zoo is next month... They have more applicants than positions, though, so me with my minimum hours bottom time is a long shot... But I am hopeful anyway.

I kind of want a GoPro gimbal as well, and they are similar prices. Have to pick one for a b-day gift I think.

Just bought my kid'd new Bare wetsuit, he went off the scale on his size 10 in 1 year. As long as he doesn't gain 16 pounds and 4 inches in height in the next year (he will) he can wear this one for two whole summers.

These things are crazy.... as far as I can tell the cheapest dive watch starts at 400, and they go up into the thousands when you have like HAL on your wrist saying sorry, he can't allow you to ascend that fast, Dave.Troy wrote:

Part of diving at the zoo is doing presentations for the kids while you feed the sharks, and for that you need to use a full facemask in which you can talk.... so today I had to go to a dive shop and jump in their pool and familiarize with a full facemask.

It was pretty neat, almost an "Easy" button for scuba. I even had my kid jump in the pool, and he loved it. If they weren't so expensive it would be fun to be able to talk to each other, under water.
