A number of times the announcers mentioned his headaches and how he had to control himself on the sideline to keep them in check.

UGA cannot handle QB changes by the other team, apparently

Someone called that game a thriller. Laughable. Georgia could have routed Bama, but went comatose instead of piling on the points.

I had forgotten that Hurts even existed. Good for him to save the game. Tua might have killed his shot at the Heisman tonight. He looked like dogshit. His only TD pass was ALL the WR, and had nothing to do with him. (A 5 yard slant that went for 70.)

OU didn't look great against Texas despite winning. OSU is handling NW without issue, and if that holds I still think somehow the committee is going to put Georgia in over OSU and OU.

I'm feeling better about our Michigan beatdown. They beat Nova by 27 and Purdue by 19. Watch out, Big Ten.

Right now, I feel it has to be OU, unless OSU can re-establish themselves. 3 pts over NW isnt that impressive.

And they then leave NW in the dust

1. Alabama vs. 8. Washington
2. Clemson vs. 7. UCF
3. Oklahoma vs. 6. Georgia
4. Ohio State vs. 5. Notre Dame
As for OSU, I swear NW lulled them to sleep by not showing up in the first half. It's possible that Haskins won the Heisman tonight. Might be his consolation prize for not getting into the playoffs.

Also, don't discount NW, they're a lot better than advertised. Pat FItzgerald is making NW a legit program. Not OSU-Bama-Clemson level, but good enough to make waves every now and then.

I have a feeling that's where they finish.

Me too.

Five Thirty Eight has ND missing the playoffs. Such complete bullshit that people are looking at OU, OSU, and ND's SOS to figure out the 4th team, yet nobody is questioning the SEC playing 3-4 fewer P5 teams AND playing DII teams. The entire system is so ridiculously skewed in their favor.

And don't even get me started on UCF who hasn't lost a football game in two years.

No matter what a team that belongs in the playoffs won't be in, and that's what this system was supposed to prevent.

There's 3 answers that I think are acceptable:
1) 8 team playoff, like you listed.
2) 3 undefeated teams. I guess UND vs Clemson for play-in game to play 'Bama. Or maybe round-robin? UCF's SOS just doesn't even.
3) Clemson vs Bama, no other games.

Only to people not watching.

The CFP is completely and utterly broken.

A 2 loss Georgia team who lost at home by 20 over a 1 loss conference champion OSU who lost at Purdue by 29? The math doesn't work there.

4 SEC members on the CFP. 1 Big Ten member.

All rankings are based on completely arbitrary and biased preseason rankings that always puts SEC teams in the top 25 despite the SEC having losing bowl seasons against other conferences.

The CFP was supposed to end all debate and force teams to play one another so we'd get good games in September. Well, the debates are worse than ever, and the SEC still schedules ooc DII teams.

The CFP chairman actually cited wins over Michigan and NW as reasons ND was in...

But OSU beat them each by a LOT more. Also, OSU won their conference.

It's utterly broken.

All ACC women's soccer final, but FSU beats UNC, 1-0 :(

Also, going to go ahead and say it's great that the ACC got 2/4 teams in the BCS this year.

Several players skipping their bowl games: http://www.espn.com/college-football/st ... -nfl-draft

I feel like they owe it to their team to play, but really don't have that strong of feelings. Gotta look out for their own $$$

Yeah, I'm torn. Pretending the school doesn't do shit for the players is complete crap. So the least the players could do is play the bowl game before moving on. However, I also believe in the players protecting their investment, which is their body, and really their draft position if it's good.

I can't believe Haskins is going to play. Makes me feel like OSU is going to make a statement.

P.S. Did you see the lines on both CFP games are double digit? That's Vegas telling the CFP these aren't the four best teams.

Exactly. Those players don't draft as high as they do if they didn't play college. Those players are about to be paid VERY well for their years of playing college ball.
