Whatever the reason, the point being that, yes, there is a point where I value people less than animals. And that sign is more worried about tourists feeding animals stupid things that are either nutritionally insane or potentially fatal.
The more I think about it, that image is a horrible analogy, the underlying premise of the sentiment notwithstanding. It's rather hypocritical to display a sign that says, "These are wild animals," when you're the fuckers that put them in a cage. No, this image simply does not translate.
