Selling my kid's size 10 children's wetsuit. Brand is Bare. You've prolly seen pics. It has been used exactly six times, has never been pissed in. 3mm. Costs $100 new, I'll sell it for $50 with free shipping.

It is in like-new condition, he is just growing out of it.

I know some of you you have kids approaching that size so I thought I would ask you before it goes on eBay.

Also selling his booties and fins if you're interested. Same reason.

I'll bite. What are the other two?

It was like pea soup in Santa Barbara this morning. Still a good swim and dive skills refresh. Still, 5 feet of vis for an hour will make you start seeing things. It was just a kelp stalk, tho.

Made it to to SD, hoping to do La Jolla tomorrow. Bad visibility is supposed to clear up later in the week. Might have to just chase vis to Catalina.

Here's some GoPro footage of Monday sunset in Pismo Beach.

When I go diving and there is poor vis I feel like I want to speak to the manager. Of the ocean.

Good dive in La Jolla Thursday. Longest time in the water yet. At the two hour mark I started to get cold. Only saw a few fish worth taking and they bolted at the sight of me. Variable vis 5-20+.

Made it to Catalina Island Friday morning on the ferry from Long Beach. After getting to touristy Avalon, I hired a private boat to take us to the northern remote harbor and campground. Was supposed to be a quick run with a few stops on the way so I could snag some dinner. Turned out to be epic.

We made three dives on the way. The charter guy was cool and didn't seem rushed, nor did he stick to the time limit he original quoted (awesome). Visibility was unbelievable, 60+. We saw, up close and personal at times: leopard sharks, sea turtles, seals, guitar rays, and tons of fish in densities I'd only dreamed about compared to even La Jolla at its best. The guide caught a small fish while we were in the water and called over some bald eagles from the nearby cliff to eat it. It was rad as hell.

I took two nice fish, a Calico bass and a big Sheephead. Cat pan fried them at our campsite. It was as good as you would expect. We can hear the ocean and the sea lions barking from our oceanfront tent cabin.

I'm up right now because some critter just snuck into our tent cabin and tried to steal our marshmellows. Probably a little fox looking thing. Rookie mistake, we were using the top of our food bin to dry wet suits. All battened down now.

Tomorrow we're going to kayak out to a rock pinnacle nearby and dive on it. Will bring and use the GoPro this time. 11/10 trip so far.

A lot of footage to go through. I think I can make a 1-2 minute movie out of the highlights.

Here's a particularly interesting drop. It was just shitty (shaky) footage of a Garibaldi until...

I just learned that SI has covered scuba diving so I'm moving the thread back to this forum, and y'all can just suck it.

I really do like that vid. It's insane how long that guy can stay down and be comfortable. Good editing too, it's easier to look like a god when you don't have any shots of surfacing.

I was wondering about how he stayed down there with no visible weights.

Didn't think about that. I wonder if he used a drop-line. I don't know if that's the right term for them, but professional freedivers use something to go down that works like... an anchor, basically.

Think my next dive trip will be next month for my birthday. Found a ridiculous fare to New Zealand, a 13 hour direct flight.
