5 recent cases of voter fraud getting caught.

http://dailysignal.com/2015....k-again

This doesn't happen at the federal level though, and there are no entities organizing it.

And granted, being paid $50 for your vote is probably a lot more beneficial to you than an unpaid vote based on conscience, since usually there is no difference in how shitty each candidate will be.

Registering dead peeps as democrats in Virginia.

“Oftentimes we hear our Democratic colleagues suggest that voter fraud doesn’t exist in Virginia, or it’s a myth,” said Howell. “This is proof that voter fraud not only exists but is ongoing and is a threat to the integrity of our elections.”
I've heard the "It's a myth" line, myself.

Let me know when they find enough to overturn the 90 or so electoral votes they'd have needed.

New York City has only 10 commissioners on the Board of Elections, two from each borough. He’s the Democratic commissioner from Manhattan. He knows what he’s talking about, and he’s confirming every right-wing suspicion about voter fraud. Yes, voters get bused around to vote multiple times (by local pols, he implies)...

Let's see charges brought up, or he may as well be jacking himself off. What's his batting average on these vid strings? Still .000?

I love how this guy was caught red handed trying to commit voter fraud, yet the Dem says, "No votes were cast, so no election fraud, but I sure as hell know Republicans are cheating!"

I've always assumed they both were.

I think the Republican way of cheating, as the Dem even points out, is technically legal.

Is it better? No, but it is legal.

Registering dead people and voting multiple times is illegal.

I want a tally of how much election fraud there'd have to be before NY goes red.

Clearly it would take a mammoth effort to alter a state like NY or California or Texas. If you're trying to make a point about this type of election fraud not mattering it doesn't make sense to pick a state that's always blue by a wide, wide margin. Pick Ohio, Virginia (where this happened), Florida, Michigan, or any other swing state. Even in those states it's fairly obvious that 19 votes doesn't matter...you know, until they do. And if one person's doing it, how many others are? Go look at the previously posted links in this thread and you'll see this isn't an isolated incident.

Is it changing elections? At this level, I highly doubt it based on the number of voters, margin of victory, numbers in these incidents, etc.

However, these incidents shouldn't be ignored or brushed off. Every single one should be treated as a serious violation and the people need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Maybe ny is blue by a wide margin because of the scale of the fraud.

That's South Park-level satire, I hope. There are no vast conspiracies. Groups of people get too stupid and talkative beyond a certain number.

It wouldn't take a vast conspiracy. It would just take lots of tiny cheaters in a localized culture of win-at-all-costs each cheating on their own and not knowing how many others are also cheating.

But it does seem unlikely.

I see no differences in the two major parties anymore. I find it very likely there's cheating on both ends (as far as I'm concerned, present election laws are cheats). If everyone's cheating, it's all fair.

The exact stupid opinion that makes everyone throw out their morals.

Throwing out your morals is a prereq for voting in this presidential election.

The big push to uncover voter fraud is uncovering democratic voter fraud.

Shocker.

Hardly definitive. The problem is that the vote count made by the machines didn't match the count of voters made by the elderly half-blind poll workers. That is not a surprise, that is expected. Poll workers are well-meaning but mostly incompetent.

It's worthy of investigation, but to leap straight from this to "omg voter fraud!!1!one!!" is more than a little absurd.

I'm sure it's a vast conspiracy going up to the highest levels of gov't.
