Bag fees could actually be saving flyers money. Tickets are taxed. Baggage fees are not. Airline could get the same revenue for a lower total price.

We went to Culebra for a week. The airport was so small that there's no TSA. If there are no planes above 60 people, no security screening. It was awesome. Also, since we were flying to a big airport (San Juan, PR), we were not allowed into the airport. They took is in a van, through where baggage comes into the airport, and shuffled us out an "authorized personnel only" door into baggage claim.
I wish I could fly small planes all the time, except for the whole "very slow, loud, bad in weather, and not so comfortable" part.

Boeing has a plan in place to fix their shit.
Unless it involves going back to building your own planes, fuck off.

I have a bunch of frequent flier miles on American, setting to expire in March. Is there a website out there where you can search flights by how many miles they would cost? I don't know where I want to go, and want to shop ideas for the most exotic thing possible, within my miles budget.

No idea. But typically you can do something small to keep the miles from expiring. I have a credit card enrolled here:
https://www.aadvantagedining.com/ and the activity keeps my miles alive.

Thanks, good idea.
So just accumulating more miles means old miles wont expire?

Yes.
American Airlines AAdvantage ® miles expire if you have no earning or redemption activity on your account in a 24-month period

Bet.
There's tons of restaurants around here that do this program. I've been leaving miles on the table because I didn't know about that program.

Turns out I can link the same credit card on Delta Dining, as well.
And as far as I can tell, Delta uses the same restaurants. So I'm guessing I can double dip two miles plans by eating at one?

No!
I got an email from American said I moved to a different plan, and was removed from theirs. Ah well.

Delta apparently booted a retired Marine off a flight for wearing a veteran suicide awareness shirt.
I cannot find a response from Delta yet.
Seems to me it's a really simple fix:
1. Fire the employee
2. Offer 2 first class roundtrip tickets for anytime and anywhere to the victim.
3. Donate $10K to a Veteran Suicide Awareness program.

At the bottom it said the matter was resolved (per Delta), which I would assume means they figured something out with the veteran.
“The matter with the customer has been resolved. We appreciate her patience as we continue to work to understand what occurred during this event. Most importantly, we are thankful for her service to our country,” a Delta spokesperson told The Post.
And she still was on the flight, but in main cabin instead of C+ or whatnot.
Banks was brought to the back of the plane instead of the seat she paid for, which had already been given to another passenger.

I missed that, but when something like this goes viral, the company MUST get out in front of it. This is not a great look for them even if they
think they resolved things with the passenger, which they obviously didn't or she wouldn't be taking her story national.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't she pay extra for a specific seat with additional leg room, but received a downgraded seat once brought back on the plane. Was she refunded that difference?

1) yes. 2) Dunno, Delta just says "settled" I would assume she got a refund, and some upgrades/miles for the future.
