After some slimy fucktard tried to steal my CC, I got a new one during the winter break. I've used it exactly once on my PC at home within Chrome. That was to order a pizza. Chrome popped up during that transaction and said, "Do you want me to remember this card?" I said no and also told it I didn't want to turn on sync.
At work today, and I'm paying tuition for Spring 2020 within Chrome. Guess who had saved my CC info and was now offering it to me on a completely different PC?

There are 2 different ways that it remembers credit card numbers. The first is Google Pay (which prompts you just like you said). The other (which is much less secure) is just remembering data to fill in various blanks on forms, which it sounds like is what is happening. And that has probably already been on for a while.

Keep in mind I told it not to, and I don't have sync on.

Youtube offered a 3 month free trial, so I was like "what the hell, let's try this out"
So I went to look up controllers for my Chromecast Ultra... and only the Stadia controller works. The other controllers are PC/phone only.
Meh.

So... those speakers in your house are, as-is,able to act as a home security system. They can even call you if a smoke detector is going off.
But....... google removed that functionality unless you buy an ADT home security package.
Is this fucked up? Seems kinda fucked up.

The Pixel Slate was not ideal. Selling it now on eBay.
The iPad Pro really is the massive tablet to beat.

I don't know where else to put this, so I'm putting it here. NSFW link
I was in my gmail, and an ad for
NSFW this place NSFW showed up. It called it an "adult resort," So I clicked to see what it meant. Maybe it just meant "no kids," maybe it meant... well, I dunno. But I did not expect a "sex vacation" with escort (or escorts) included. I don't think I've ever seen such a place advertised before.

Now that I think about it, some of those packages were like 500 per night which includes a room and woman for 24 hours.
That is a super cheap for an attractive woman... Which leads me to believe they aren't.
