That only works as long as they can keep other people from getting charcoal. It would be a 24 hour market. Because as soon as the price goes up, everyone will be doing charcoal runs.

Oh, the boat thing. We kind of got split up, which was not our intention. But, it worked to our advantage. We would secure one boat, and they would leave other boats to save it. This left other boats unattended and we would take that one. They would react, repeat. They ended up so spread out that one slipped through their fingers and into ours. We just needed one guy far enough from them that they couldn't react, they cut their losses, and we got free fish!

If anyone is considering placing land, there is a bunch of stuff falling in our area tomorrow. One of them is big enough for a thatched farm house.

I would like another large farm, I would have to make an alt and get the deed first though.

I actually opened an account a few weeks ago and played an hour here and there. Last night I went in with the intention of making some serious progress with my level 8 elf wizard. Then I hit a mission that told me to team up with whoever happened to be nearby, and I didn't want to, and I proceeded to get my ass kicked up and down the map trying to do the tutorial mission. So I got frustrated.

I don't know what that means.

Zynga had games that forced you to either a) spend money, or b) introduce the game to your FB friends in order to advance.

This was actually about using the in game community stuff so you know how to join raids and parties making certain missions possible to run and/or more efficient.

Your lack of knowledge about the game is quite clear from your statement here and in the general thread. As I said there, the game is flawed enough without you inventing new flaws.

While I started the Zynga comparisons, the one you're trying to make now isn't accurate. Zynga literally forced you to invite FB friends to move ahead in the game. That's not even remotely the case here.

I'll be honest, I don't know how you opened an account a few weeks ago and you're only level 8. I created an Eastern continent character and got him to lvl 15 in about 30 minutes. Again, as I stated elsewhere, I don't want you to play something you don't want to play. If this isn't your cup of tea, so be it. Also, I don't know how long I'll end up playing it either and I don't want you being pissed if you actually do get a character going and we all quit.

As for this particular barrier, I do not recall a mission at lvl 8 that required partnering with anyone so I can't help you there. The only missions I recall during the questing phases were "Elite" missions and the Sharpwind dungeon.

For the dungeon, Cake would be happy to take you through that as he has a quest to do just that. Ditto for me.

For the Elite missions or any mission you don't want to do, skip them.

Also, if you really want to see the game and you're being frustrated with the questing stuff, STOP FUCKING DOING IT! Friend us in game and we'll get you out of there or we can run through the stuff with you. You're lvl 8, so anywhere we go will kick your ass, especially other players, but it'd probably be a lot more interesting to you.

Welp, logged back in to try that training quest again, and I can't do it alone. Some dude partied up with me and wanted to be bossy, and that got old. Tried playing with the chat function for a minute but wasn't very successful.

So, yeah.

That would be when I was trying to figure out the chat system. Failed.

Share your character name and we'll friend you.

And again, just don't do the quest. There are 0 quests on the main storyline that require you to partner up with someone else.

That was an amazing Hasla run. Good call Cakedaddy getting that started!! Lasted until 1:30am when they took the servers down for patching. For the last hour, there was our group of 7 and 2 other random greens. 3 people in our group finished their tier 1 weapons. I'm still 22 short for my tier 1 bow.

I was so fucking sick of it after a while, but, I couldn't leave that easy farming. That was about a weeks worth (given past success) in one night.
