I've seen a lot of about how bad the code is written as far as the ability to exploit it through hacks.

Did you know that your buffs and health are client side? There are just as many (more) hacks like radar, esp, etc. as Rust legacy has.

I'd be up for going to Hasla and getting some more tokens. Problem is, you, Cake and I are all going to want the bow. I wouldn't mind the 1H sword and the shield also, but the bow is what I would want the most. So we would have to figure out how we wanna go about that.

Also, I've talked about going to GHA in Hellswamp for our armor upgrades. It takes 5 level 50's to run tho.

By the way here is the list of what you can get from Hasla:

◾Honor = 1h Sword
◾Sacrifice = Lute
◾Courage = Bow
◾Loyalty = 2h Sword
◾Conviction = Staff
◾Fortitude = Shield

Well, if he's a spy, I wouldn't exactly say he 'lost' them. That's what people didn't understand last night. Soggy was saying "We can't have a spy. We lost the most stuff!" Ummmm.

I don't think we, as individuals, would be as successful as pirates as we are as green. The pirates are HIGHLY organized and win fights. There are a TON of them. And in the important parts of the map (from a trade pack standpoint) they have a strong advantage. But, as pirates, we lose all of our land. We start over on pirate lands. Joining another large pirate guild may keep us safer. But as a pirate TKV, we'd be killed with all the greens. Going pirate might put us on the winning team, but we won't be winning as individuals. Plus, I have to wonder how open recruitment is in the pirate guilds.

Reds will always win because good is stupid. And that's the truth. Reds eat, sleep, and breath PvP. Greens do it part time. Greens will always lose an even numbered fight. Hell, I'd say reds will win any fight up 1 red to 3 greens. The reds focus fire better, etc.

People don't like Blank because they used to work with other guilds, now they don't. They feel they are big enough now that 'fuck you other greens'. So a lot of people feel betrayed. They also do things like they did in Hasla last night. When I got there, I happened to group up with some Blank guys. I was taking courage like Leisher described above. Was making good progress. Then about 50 other Blanks showed up. They made a massive push and cleared the entire area of enemy reds. I fought with this group as did all other non-Blank people. Then when the reds were all gone, farming started. That's when all non-blank were kicked from the raid so they wouldn't get any more rolls. But, this is when I learned that the Hasla farming area is HUGE. I always thought it was that valley area right by the recall point where the vendors are. That's about 1/4 of the whole area. Blank ended up staying in the valley near the red spawn/vendor area. So I went back to the first valley and there were no Blank there. I formed a small 3 man raid and we started farming. Only problem was, those two would roll for everything. So I started to. So, we all got a little bit of everything, but not a lot of anything. This was all done during conflict. I didn't see any green on green fighting for the hour and a half I was there. I would be open to going any time.
You need 650 tokens to max out your weapon. I want the exact same weapons as Leisher. :-)

As far as the redit post, it's UOE all over again! And ya, people use it. You can bet a large portion of the reds use it too. I KNOW they can detect hidden players. So many times we've been stealthing on Freedlich as scouts. Standing way off to the side away from the action invisible. Then some random reds will run across the screen about 50+ meters away. Suddenly, one of them will break from their group and bee line right to us. Get close enough to reveal us and kill us. Happens all the time. It's impossible to scout Freedlich while stealthed because they can see you anyway.

How has this game been out so long in Korea and Russia, yet they haven't fixed this stuff yet?

There's a broken quest in Sanddeep that people say has been broken since Alpha. I've run the quest, and it is broken.

The economy is fucked. People are apparently cheating. You can't win on the AH due to bots, so don't bother trying. There's no land left. Crafting is a cumshot for sadists. The reds have multiple unfair advantages on the map. A TON of content still hasn't been included into the game that is in the other versions. Etc.

Yet, we're still playing. That's how good the rest of the stuff is (and how badly we're jonesing for a good MMORPG).

Problem is, you, Cake and I are all going to want the bow. I wouldn't mind the 1H sword and the shield also, but the bow is what I would want the most. So we would have to figure out how we wanna go about that.

If 7 strangers could figure it out without so much as a discussion, I'm pretty sure we can figure it out. It's not like there's only 1 of each item.

For a price...

I am down for any dungeon runs. I'd rather do a night of dungeon crawling than a night of failed trade runs. (And on that note, I think trade runs on weekend nights would be pretty dumb.)

What a massive error last night in that first run, and honestly I felt guilty about it. I watched Ouija or whatever his name was get attacked and jumped down to help. I killed his killer almost at the exact same moment he went down. Someone else grabbed the helm and re-positioned the ship. I got to work moving packs and then the whole stolen farm cart thing happened. I was watching that with a pack on my back. That resolved itself and while I waited for Cake to respawn it, I looked at the ship and saw the wheel with nobody on it. Had I been in chat, I could have called that out. Still, it shows how inexperienced Scooty's group is, but they're learning and trying.

You can convert tokens, but it is very expensive in gold and labor. 6 gold per token and I think 100 labor.

Just jumped on a moment ago as Hasla was in peace. Ran to a mountaintop village where I was given a quest for leather lowers. Had to log as peace was ending and I am at work. Didn't want to get involved in something in case I get pulled away. Too bad because it's 4 p.m. in the game...

Still, I can hopefully knock that quest out quickly tonight and find out what kind of armor it is to see if it's the Tier 7 stuff or not.

Jot their name down, and then report them. They've got to have a way to detect people who use shit like that.

I would, if I thought it would help. First, I have to open the 'Contact Us', then open a ticket, spend labor doing this, etc. Then, maybe, someone will follow up on it. I can only assume that my message would be lost in the billions of other messages being created. And that's just one guy.

To me, the better solution is, don't feed the reds. They have EVERY advantage on that island. Cheat tools to see you. They can hide from you because greens don't cheat (if they did, they'd be rich and not doing high risk trade packs! They'd be botting on the main lands.). There are four choke points you have to go through. They have houses and recall points on the island, we do not. The list goes on. This is a near impossible part of the game that should just be ignored. If EVERYONE stopped doing Freedlich runs, the reds would just be sitting there with their thumbs up their asses with nothing to do. Granted, they'll hop on their boats and start hunting greens. But then, we have radar, can see them, etc. It increases our odds of survival. It would be an interesting experiment if all greens stopped going to Freedlich. It's too bad there are no statistics on how many trade packs get turned in by greens vs reds.

Last night was the best night to date.

I hit a TS. Cake, Scooty, and I ran Hasla quests and got the game's best quest armor, weapon, helmet, etc. while killing dirty reds. We spent a lot of time in the Hasla rift area fighting mobs, reds, and harvesting the massive spawn that appears. Scooty became a land baron of the sea. We harvested a bunch of trees from a couple of massive illegal tree farms and ruined one poor red's day. It still makes me laugh that we ganked him, then he sailed ALL THE WAY BACK, and immediately get his ass kicked again.

As planned, I'll be sitting on this TS Tree until Farm Wagons hit on the 4th. Price has to go since they'll be in higher demand right?

Also, I'm 40 tokens away from my first Hasla bow.

Troy wrote:Diene, one of our neighbors offered her/himself and their small group is as PVP muscle if we need it for trade runs? I said I would pass it on to the people that do that.

Said to me after I whooped Tazzin's level 50 butt in a duel. I was blocking the auctioneer with my defense spell like an asshole, tho.
Do you think by 'protection' they just mean they won't pirate you? GUILD just got pirated by them coming out of Ynystere. I was on the boat at the time and lost a trade pack as well. I did mention Diene and she started doing some damage control. Explained it with "We just merged with another small guild and there are still some things that need to be fleshed out". They are offering compensation to GUILD. I don't need any though. We'll see what becomes of it.

On the other hand, there is ALWAYS chatter in Nation where someone is complaining about something ACE is doing with ACE taunting them back in nation chat. As soon as they boarded the ship, I knew they would be attacking us as soon as we got into open waters. And they did.

I don't trust ACE. I'm not going to be openly hostile with them. But I don't see us openly allying with them either.

Leisher mentioned that you guys went to Hasla and got the best quest armor in the game. Is the leather armor called the Buried Legends armor? I'm pretty sure it is. While he is correct, this is the best armors you can get from a quest because you can get the whole set from just doing quests. Its not the best you can get from NPC drops. The Buried Legends (level 38) is very similar to the conqueror's armor (level 37) that I crafted.

In Hellswamp there is GHA, you can get the High Inquisitors armor (leather) the Corrupt Paladins (plate) or the Fallen Martyr's (cloth) from the bosses there (all level 44). These armors are comparable to the magnificent line of crafted armor (also level 44). The only problem is you get what is dropped and if its cloth armor then you prolly won't want it. There is also a chance a bow, shield, or scepter can be dropped there. So these are the best armors that aren't quests or crafted, but rather drops from NPC bosses. I'm not sure how rare the drops are but I've read that lots of people go there and haven't had much problem getting their whole set.

I just wanted to check into this and correct me if I'm wrong on the Buried Legends leathers you get from the quests in Hasla.

So Auroria is supposed to open tomorrow and still no word on exactly when that will be. I'm guessing they will take the servers down sometime in the morning and patch it in and four to five hours later it will be live. I'm guessing some time between 3-5pm? You would think they would let people know so the guilds can be prepared. But maybe it is a smart idea and it won't let the big guilds have the advantage, even though they still will just because they are that large.

I'd like to be around for the carnage, you know that everyone on the server is going to be going north. Being anywhere close to that continent is going to be packed full of ships and it will be a PvP frenzy like never before. Still I would like to witness it, so I'd like it better if they announced a time so I can plan on being on for it. I just hope its in the evening and not when I'm working like most normal Americans, but that's prolly a long shot.

We do have the Buried Legends stuff.

I don't consider the GHA stuff "quest" since it's random drops, but being that it's better I do want it. We'll have to plan out GHA runs one weekend.

I'm looking forward to this patch, but mainly so I can see what happens with the TS trees and see what new content they're adding.

I don't really care about Auroria at the moment, and not sure why I'm supposed to care. It's just a PvP territory like Hasla, Cinderstone, Hellswamp, etc.

I suppose the land rush is cool as it'll open up a lot of land elsewhere for folks. However, everyone's just going to teleport there via Mariople and whatever the red equivalent is. Who wants to sail up and deal with pirates?

I expect to see a lot of problems coming out of this patch. The next week will probably be filled with additional patches to fix bugs.

The biggest thing people are complaining about in this patch is the release of tiers 2&3 of the Hasla weapons. It basically makes the best weapons in the game gotten from grinding Hasla, and makes crafters obsolete.. Bullshit

Servers just went down at 11:13. We'll see how long it takes them to come up.

I need heal potions. Who is making them?

We need a bigger Hasla group. 4 people doesn't get the job done. We also shouldn't be standing right in the middle like that. It's terrible positioning because monsters spawn on top of you, and you're immediately defending yourself and unfocused. Next time, let's get on the hill that was next to us (Not near where the reds attack from but the one against the mountains. It's a tiny hill.). Nothing spawns up there and we can select targets. The other good spot is out of the swamp on the side that heads to the Nuia shrine. Basically, you want to be away from the spawns so your group can properly call out targets.

The scorpions are a massive waste of time. They all spawn at once and drop 1 token, while their giant brothers drop a measly 3. Anything that can kill you alone without breaking a sweat should give you a much higher reward.

The fat budha looking guys drop 20 of a type of token. They should be what we are there for. Depending on the size of our group, we should be targeting what we can handle immediately.

That giant guy gives 10 of each type of token. Based on that, and how hard he is to kill, I'm betting that is awarded to everyone involved in killing him. So if you see an effort to drop him, make sure you take a shot or two.

Going there for the Hasla Rift without numbers or during peak time is very inefficient and kind of a waste. I was just there this morning and was able to get a ton of tokens because there's so little competition.

I'm 20 tokens from T1 Hasla bow.

Patch Notes for today's update (Nov. 4th)

Biggest changes:
-Auroria
-Castles
-A new dungeon for lvl 50s
-new max lvl monsters
-T2 & 3 Hasla weapons
-Doubled the cost of equipment repair
-Fart cart is now an upgrade to the farm wagon.
-4 new gliders
-Report spam in chat
-Fixed trades to make them even harder to try and steal from people

If you're on, you're lucky and don't log off. Hell, get shit done!

Nobody else can log on.

Lots of people on the forums bitching about how suspicious this is considering there's a land rush going on. Should be interesting to see who has already placed their houses. Everything is a conspiracy!

BTW, Calleil and Ezi are the other servers on our AH.

Nope. No login for me.

Some people are saying one account works on a PC, but not another. Some people can log in on one PC, but not another.

Who knows.

SO fucking glad I didn't have plans for up there.
