That's all I really want. But that doesn't exist today. Although, hmmm. It'd be a pain to have to keep a cable in my car and plug it into the station. I'm guessing most people who aren't Tesla will standardize. Then hopefully they will be Blackberry and not Apple.

Well, it's "winter," so the heat was on. Which sucks balls for electrics.
Ehhhhhhh a little. But on a full charge, having the heater on only kills about 5 miles out of the 80 total (for my particular car). If you're cutting it that close, you're already living dangerously.

About 3 weeks ago I drove my car on E until the computer told me I only had 7 miles left. I wonder how much I really had left.

I'VE HEARD some cars lie about that number, they don't want you to get under a couple gallons of gas because the gas pump is in the tank, and has to be kept cool. If it were dry it would overheat and break.
So the answer is, who knows.

My understanding is that it's really bad for EFI to run dry as well.

I HIGHLY doubt we'll be charging cars with USB ports.

This is where the line is between fan and cultist, I think.
I won't trash him for trying. I think it's good to try new stuff. But I think we should acknowledge this was a miss.

I haven't even seen the bed/hauling capacity yet. That's what most truck buyers want to know.

Agree 100%

Hauling goes from 7500 to 14000, with a stop in the middle, depending on configuration, starting at $40k for the cheap one, starting at $70k for the expensive one.

Woof. Man, someone must have have had to hype him up to unveil THAT to the world.
Saw some window strength test involving rocks went awry and left the test vehicle with two broken windows on stage.

Well, people are certainly talking about it.
So when he said it would be Blade Runner inspired, this is not what I thought he meant
