I'm not going to judge Gordon on his remodeling speed given that I'm just about done flipping my first house, that I started 12 years ago.

Great. Either MS's FTP servers are slow or work throttles my bandwidth.

In other news, should have Windows 7 Ultimate by tomorrow. As a bonus, Corsair managed to get their rebate card to me.

Things I have learned about my mouse:
1) Doesn't work with the mousepad I bought.
2) Comes with 5 4.5g weights. Makes a difference.

Anyone got any favourite mouse pads with clever ergonomics?

What's a mouse pad?

This. Found it way cheaper. Was ordering a LED flashlight from Amazon anyway.

Oh, right! I remember those. For keeping those old mouse balls clean, yes?

No. Turns out the laser sensor on the new mouse doesn't like the old cloth pad. I really don't want to run it across the desk surface, either.

I use a mouse pad just for the wrist cushion.

My SSD is on sale again. If I pick up one more before Saturday, that'll be half a TB of solid memory. HDD can be the vault. Hell, could pick up another 3 TB of HDD space for barely above $120.

Also picked up the 2nd SSD. No new hardware in the future unless the Creative Labs ZxR goes on sale.

Your reading speed isn't my machine's fault.

Son-of-a-bitch. I managed to fuck up my Windows install as only I can ... wtf. The system partition is on the HDD and the OS files went on the SSD. Means I can't format the HDD properly to get all 3 TBs. Fuck. First reformat & reinstall is coming sooner than I thought.

Nope. SSD was "out for delivery." Then it appeared right back at the local post office. Fed Ex took the package away from the suburb where it's supposed to be delivered so they could hand it off to the USPS in the city. So they could drive it right back down to the suburbs five days later. To boot, the USPS has no knowledge of the Fed Ex tracking #, so fuck both of them. Now I can't schedule a pickup or change the delivery addy. This marks the absolute last time I buy anything shipped FedEx or USPS. It's UPS or fuck you from now on.
