Bought this mostly to take with me to my dad's for viewing trail cam images and mpeg4 files from my video camera. Would have gone with a cheaper laptop that used something other than Windows, but my trail cams have a plot mode that creates a proprietary time lapse file and the software to view it is Windows.

Not a bad machine if you don't need any heavy lifting done. Screen looks okay as long as you're looking straight at it. Looking from an angle isn't its strong point. All in all, it's doing its job.

Oh, also use it for my handheld GPS mapping software.

I use the cameras for animal scouting. My dad gets a kick out of seeing what's out there and I see what's were for hunting and later in the year trapping.

Ahh. When I read "trail cam", I thought "GoPro" and thought you might be doing something cool. :-)

LOL! Actually I bought a Sony action camera for messing around with. Don't do much cool really. We're always riding my Dad's Rhino around his property and we carry my digital camera with us, but you run up on deer or coons or whatever and by the time you can get the camera out they're long gone. So I figured I could use the action camera with a head mount and while I may not get great video of the wildlife, it's sure to be better than all the still shots we couldn't get with the camera.

I'm going to wear the head rig with it while deer hunting this weekend. See how it does and if I get any wildlife on it.

But no, I don't do anything cool.
