If anyone is an "asshat" then it is the administrator of this site. I will completely agree that Opal is a nutbag, however if you would like for new viewers of your website to continue visiting and send their friends to keep you entertained for years to come...maybe you should make sure your facts are straight. If you didn't have time to do your research why even try to post something since you are obviously an extremely busy person and well educated as well as informative. If you have things wrong from tiny little Toledo then I can be sure you have many things wrong with more interesting articles posted. This subject is so unimportant, there are only two types of people who could get that upset about it:
1. The candadates themselves or their families, at which point they are misrepresenting themselves because they have a vested interest.

1. I was curious about where the peanut gallery was coming from in this thread, and did some poking around... turns out this thread appears on page 3 of a google search for "carty finkbeiner."
2. I didn't know these forum threads could be indexed by google.

Let me address the three visitors we've had from Toledo:
"Bill W." - Very well done. Easily understood and to the point. The only negative is that you defended a candidate, yet didn't return for any follow up questions. I still wanted to know why Keith endorsed Ford and then entered the race himself and bashed Ford, all within three days.
"lou" - Focus on that shift key lou. You also made the same mistake Bill made by defending a specific candidate yet dodged a more serious question about that same candidate. Also, you mistake me for the MSM. We here at dtman.com are an opinion site, not a news site. The morning I wrote that I got the entire story from a specific Toledo news source. That's pretty much all the research I need to do considering I'm not the press and I'm not making a salary to share my opinion with the world. Oh, and lou, I've worked for the MSM in Toledo and I know how often they do stories without checking anything yet I'd be willing to bet you never write them do you? Maybe because they say things you want to agree with?

We're not the media and we're not out to make money. We have a core group of regulars that we're content with and while we do welcome others to join us in debates, we'd rather they be a bit more able to actually discuss the issues rather than just poorly attempt to flame us.
Again, see my post for Lou. Perhaps instead of jumping to conclusions, you should have asked where my information came from to see if maybe I was misinformed? Nah, why hold yourself to the same standard you expect others to live by?

Just to let you know, only those who are complete idiots about the internet think that of most of its users. This isn't the early 90s. The web is now everywhere and if you don't get on this boat, you will be left behind.
Also, I'm not sure how old you are, but Christina Applegate hasn't been a sex symbol in over a decade. I doubt my wife would be happy if I hung a poster of a woman here in my office, but if I did it'd probably be Natalie Portman.
