I have a vague memory of a thread here pre-Obama (but, post-election, iirc) where I mentioned that Obama would not be the person he campaigned as, but would rather be much more moderate than he's positions had made him.

I guess he is kind of moderate. He's far less socialist than I expected, opting instead for fascism.
