The reviews were very positive for this movie.
I found it... dumb. It treats the audience like morons, things happen that cannot happen. Long stupid pauses in cinematography for pointlessness. "Let's hang out in Venice cuz it's our first time here, even though lots of people are trying to hunt us constantly and know we're in Venice." The train at the very end.
Just ugh.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
We saw Final Reckoning the day after Dead Reckoning.
It was much better than DR. Many fewer instances of "significant looks" and treating the audience like morons. Also, we saw it on a fake-IMAX screen in a theater, so the visual were more impressive. Nice callbacks to the rest of the series, etc.
Hopefully this is the end of the series.
