First night of blacksmith laborers. They are only 110% happiness, but the spreadsheet was pretty good. My actual returns were about 18% higher than what the spreadsheet estimates, assuming my sell orders exercise. I sold some things immediately, and have some sell orders up. I'm guessing the discrepancy is because of market fluctuations of material prices.

Also, there are two boar mounts in the group chests in the guild hall. I kept the outstanding one. :-) If you don't want one, let me know and we'll sell them. Donations of 5 tree hearts and one boarlet (the faction material costs) are welcome!

What does a boar mount do? I'm running the giant ostrich, mostly. Horse when I don't want to pay for repairs or am in arena.

It has a good carrying capacity, but is fast. It's basically a faster Ox with somewhat less capacity. The ox is more tanky with HP and armor, but the boar is much faster. I used my boar to transport by buy low/sell high items between Lymhurst and Fort Sterling. I have my alt check prices of low end items in FS and my main buys a bunch and runs them to FS. I can make over 100k per trip. Boar is 110 gallop, and my ox is 90. But my ox carries twice as much, but I don't ever fill it.

It seems the main reason to join a party for faction warfare is increased faction points from the combat part. It doesn't seem to make a conquering difference for regions or outposts.

Today, I tested that theory by joining a large party (about 15-20 people), and then right after getting a faction defense bonus, I quit helping and just ran around other parts of the screen, then teleported back to Lymhurst. I got 3.5k more points afterwards in defense.

I'll pass on the boar mount for now. I have no real use for it.

I'll pass on boar mount too.

Work schedule got changed around this week so i'm off tomorrow. I'm down for some more area if we wanna punish ourselves some more. Or we could just roam red and black zones for something different.

If you mean during the daytime, I could do some arena stuff. Can't red/black in daytime.

Ohhhhhhh. Unclear. I could do whatever tonight, maybe, depending on family, since I'm getting back from traveling later afternoon today.

Spent an hour in a red zone last night collecting resources and hitting surface mobs. Left when I hit 300k in my pack. Had killed about 40k in mobs. I only collected enhanced and T6 resources. There were a TON available. I would watch the PvP counter and only attack monsters when it was at 0. It was as high as 11 at one point, but the faction points were flashing so I figured it was related to that. Never saw a red. Did see a few random flashing skull and cross bones. Does that mean someone died to another player, or just died?

Another trip, I was in a mist when a chest popped up. Two other people showed up, but one never dismounted. The other attacked me as soon as we flagged and I hit back. I beat them (they were crossbow and my gear was a little better) and got the chest to myself.

Yellow zone chest, the only other person there invited me to party up. I accepted because they were better geared. A third person showed up. As soon as we flagged, we hit that guy and he went down pretty quick. I was the first to open the chest. Got a T8 pair of boots and T7 daggers or double swords. Sold both for about 130k. Got about 30k worth of other stuff. I had most if it picked up before they got in the chest.

The fuck. Entered a HUGE Zerg war, joined a big party... and got 3k points? despite massive battles, lots of knockdowns, etc. My faction defense values were like 285 and 489.

I'm not convinced partying helps. I often get points a few minutes after a fight. I figured it was waiting for the action in a zone to settle down, tabulates things, then sends points out. I joined a party today, and stayed in the party for a while after leaving the fight. I'd say, up to 20 minutes. I did not receive any more points after a few minutes. I feel like I get my points about 5-7 minutes after leaving the zone and the fight has been resolved with us kicking them out, them kicking us out, us successfully defending, or them defending. The zone matters too. Some are near worthless. Depends on how long they've been in in their current state, how many capture points there are, etc. I don't know the math, only that having more yellow stars that are full means more points.

I'm pretty sure it helps when it comes to faction warfare, the actual fighting/zerging against the armies. doesnt appear to help at all on capture bonuses.

Got an easy 12k this morning with my party.

Yes, but those points are obvious and displayed each time. Ranges from about 40 to 250 based on my experience per fort.

My hypothesis is that it helps only with the faction warfare points.

Sold 60k of treepoints to get treehearts which I sold at market, and upgraded my island to the next size (1.7M). yay, more cabbage!

I raised my level 5 mercs to level 6, then sold them, which made an ok profit. Trying it out from the bottom with L2 merc laborers.

i've been terrible at keeping up with my island. i dont even use the 3 workers i have and i routinely forget to farm my crops.. I think im full focus too.

On the flip side, i'm less than 100 points away from Bronze 2. Leveling up my gear pretty good though, got plate boots to 100 and leather chest, cloth helm are both at 97,98.
