Quite honestly, Valve should have a link to the article on their main store page.

It would not only be funny, and genuinely, an important health note, but it could boost sales and give people something to cite when their SO asks why they game so much.

Sounds like more evidence that kids should get more physical breaks during the day, too.

Someone in our neighborhood had an adult kid who... became a bit disturbing. 3 years ago there was a post in our neighborhood group about how he decapitated his mom's dog, and did something else that I cannot remember. His mom responded at the time that he was living in Raleigh, and had a bracelet that was supposed to alarm if he went outside his zones, etc.

His mom, 2 years ago: I’m working very closely with the Cary PD and Wake Co. it’s a shame I have to wait for him to be a harm to himself or others before anyone can involuntary commit him; and even then he can get out 72hrs later! It’s horrible. [The past 9 years of his schizophrenia have been absolute hell]

Arrested for killing two people last month
A 29-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting deaths of both a Cary and Raleigh man, police announced Wednesday night.

Cary Police said Nicholas Dalton Nanes of Raleigh was charged in the shooting death of Selvaraju Vellingiri, 55, of Cary exactly two weeks ago. Nanes was also charged in the Aug. 7, death of Bobby Earl Lucas, 56, of Raleigh.

He was arrested on Aug. 29 on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to court records, he had previously been convicted of larceny of a motor vehicle on July 31, 2019 and was sentenced to six to 17 months in jail. He was released on Dec. 25, 2019, according to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety website.

Nanes was held in jail on the possession of a firearm charge until he was charged in the murder cases on Thursday.

Raleigh police said Nanes faces one count of murder for the death of Vellingiri and one count of murder for the death of Lucas, punishable by death or life imprisonment without parole. On Aug. 7, Lucas was found dead after being shot multiple times at the Montecito West apartments along the 4100 block of Bland Road.

Vellingiri was killed while out for a walk along the 100 block of Connemara Drive in the Sommerset Community on Aug. 27, family members said this was an activity he often did by himself during the week. Cary Police said Vellingiri's shooting death was the first homicide of the year for the city.
According to court documents, this is the second case of a dog death involving Nanes within the past three years.
I mean, the guy was clearly crazy, and could never be put away.

"This is America, dog. Everyone has a gun and no one can afford mental health care."

Not to be glib, just basking in the prophetic and insightful nature of my own words.

On the one hand, we need to be able to commit people a lot easier than it is now. On the other hand, abuses of the system.

The breakdown of our mental health system is definitely a factor in why the U.S. is such a shit show right now.

His mom speaks out

I don't know where this should have been stopped, but people clearly knew he was insane.

I suggested the world would have been better if someone had just put a bullet in the crazy murderer's head years ago. My wife let out a small gasp. But then didn't disagree...

I want to know what kind, and where he got it.

Skip Bayless is trending because he shamed Dak Prescott for admitting he has experienced depression. Dak's brother committed suicide earlier this year.

The funny part is people are asking ESPN to fire him not realizing he's on Fox Sports now.

I don't know who he is. But I'm going to guess he's older than 50?

Absolutely.

He's also a noted asshole who makes Colin Cowherd seem like Paul Harvey.

Opened my door this morning and startled a young fox squirrel foraging my front yard, one of a few that have been growing up around the block this year.

Well, I spooked the little fucker good, and he ran right out into our quiet residential street and got insta-splatted by a passing smart car.

Me opening door to young squirrel twitching in the street was 5 seconds, max.

I hadn't even finished my first cup of coffee yet. Fuck. Feels bad man.

That squirrel may have grown up to be Squirrel Hitler, and the universe used you to balance things out. In a way, you're a hero.... but certainly an instrument of fate. You should feel no more guilt as does a scalpel that excises a tumor.
