Sam Lloyd lost his fight with a brain tumor.
He will be missed. The guy had hilarious comedic timing.

When I watched this series for the first time, I thought it was awesome and enjoyed it. When I tried to rewatch it, all I could see was how much of a self absorbed, selfish, complete dick JD was. He fucked over EVERYONE in his life that care about him, constantly. It was so distracting and obvious, I stopped watching. I just didn't like him as a person. And I was angry with myself for not seeing this about him before and actually liking him.
Oh. And therefor, I probably wouldn't watch the movie.

So...pretty much everyone at that age?
I mean, that's his arc. You didn't notice Dr. Cox was an example of what he could become if he kept being that way? It's, literally, an episode!
You didn't notice the other characters were like that too? Elliot and Turk both had to accept their flaws and grow. Elliot was ALL about herself in S1. Turk straight up stole money from JD in an episode in season 2...?
Even Dr. Cox, Carla, and Dr. Kelso had arcs where they came to understand some of their flaws when dealing with others and changed.

Maybe I would if I did a full rewatch. But in the first handful of episodes, he threw all of his friend under any bus he could find, even when it didn't benefit him. He just did it. I didn't want to ruin the whole thing by continuing to watch.

The episode where he tells Dr. Cox that he doesn't want to become him is in a later season.
However, I think you're not looking at him correctly in the first season. He was terrified and making constant mistakes. The whole point is that he was in over his head and was panicking. You know how people panic when they're drowning and will actually pull down their rescuer? He was living it day to day.
He still helped his friends. Remember when he gave Elliot the answer to a question during rounds? How did she repay him? By not giving him an answer even though she knew it, and Carla chewed her out for being Ms. OutForHerself.
Holy shit I've watched this show a lot. This is all from memory.

That’s a little amazing, cuz I barely remember it those items. The episode I remember best is the one where Dr. Cox’ BIL dies. It was the same day my grandfather passed, and I was watching the show hopping to cheer up.
It's not me, it's someone else.

That's just bad timing.

Yeah it was
Yeah, that was my first time hearing Colin Hays' acoustic stuff.

Ditto. While Men at Work - Cargo was one of my first ever album purchases, I LOVED the acoustic stuff way more.
I'm also a fan of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah due to Scrubs.

Ouch"Some things can just stay dead," writes USA TODAY's TV Critic, Kelly Lawler, about the "Scrubs" revival.
"It's as though daydreaming protagonist JD − played by Braff in his most annoying immature affect that is no longer charming in the actor's 50s − has concocted a TV show in his fanciful mind that succumbs to self-absorbed fantasies of a generation that can't let anything go," she write in her review.

I recorded the episodes and plan to watch them tonight. Bill Lawrence is behind the show, so if this critic is right, it'd be his only miss.
