I've been to the Carolinas and memorable food is something I've yet to encounter.
Interestingly, I think McDonald's beef has more flavor than BK's beef. Might have to do with the cooking process or the way McD's creates their patties with the correct percentage of fat evenly distributed?
I suspect it's the flame broiled that I like. A whopper without cheese is usually like eating cardboard. Got to have that moisture factor to make the Whopper good.
