You probably can't do it, so don't even try.

Still not really getting going here. It's my last week at my job, so lots of free lunches + stuff. Also, traveling next week, then vacation mid-June.

But, I got my blood tests today, and they weren't horrible, so there's that.

I am well aware that the first 10 pounds are easy. The last ten will be the bitch.

I've decided to do a $1000 wager on HealthyWage to see if I can drop ~50lbs over 9-10 months.

Might start Saturday or Sunday or Monday or something

I think the terms it gave me were: Put up $1,125, win $880, or such.

Alright, I just dropped $1,150 on my bet to lose 55 lbs.

In 10 months, I'll either have $880, or be sad.

How do you go through almost 50 years and never eat a sweet potato, you fucking heathen.

Sweet potato pie is a gift from the heavens.

I'm very tempted to sign you up for several "of the month" clubs, like beer and cheesecake.

Just one of those things. I've also never tasted a bagel.

Anti-Semite?

Don't get a shitty Tim Horton's bagel or any other fast food options. Ditto for the grocery store ones. If you ever decide to try one, go to Barry Bagels. Get the flavor you want, get it toasted, and with cream cheese.

I would recommend the garlic. It's amazing.

Not sure what you mean? Are you talking about food? Like when it's time to eat a bagel is never an option?

If so, branch out man. Skip fast food and try something new. Get a bagel sandwich at barry bagels. Did you even know that was a thing? They're delicious. One of my kids gets the tuna salad, I get egg salad, another kid gets a turkey sandwich, etc. All slapped between two bagel slices of whatever flavor you want. It's a billion times better than Subway and their mystery meat.
