I'm old and going to a concert.

So I'm going to this place with my General Admissions ticket.

I don't expect there to be moshing.

I'd like to sit at the bar for the entire thing but I want to be able to see. Also don't know if that's kosher to take up a stool for 5 hours and have 3 drinks.

I don't want to stand the entire time. But I want to be able to see.

I'm just not going to get what I want, am I. Do people show up when the doors open, typically?

I could probably pull my old wheelchair out of the attic and pretend.....

That really depends on your venue and the number of seats they put out.

Yes. Even for moderately popular artists, you'll see lines when doors open. If you want quality seats up front, you're competing with the 18-20 crowd (those old enough to get in but not drink). Competing for seats (depending upon number) elsewhere is a matter of how early you hit the doors based on how popular the band is.

Last concert I went to was a smaller venue in Detroit, Leaves' Eyes, a viking metal band out of Finland.

Hell, it could have been the same venue, I don't remember.

Anyway, after they booked their tour dates, OzzFest booked in Detroit the same night. There were about 20 peeps total in my concert, and it was awesome.

Well fuck.

I was recording the concert last night, had a perfect spot to prop the phone while I headbanghed, and about 40% in my phone said "out of storage/can't keep going."

I thought, "Huh, that's weird, I thought I had a shitload of storage." But oh well, nbd, I just turned it off and enjoyed the show.

So just now I plug in the phone and I see that I have 10GB of 24GB free.

What the fuck.
