DMCA exemptions.
Cars weren't the only thing on the LOC's agenda. It also granted an exemption for those who want to play video games after the publisher ends support. Libraries, museums, and gamers, for example, can now modify a game so that it doesn't have to check in with an authentication server to operate—welcome news in an era of online-only gaming.
