TV: Lost - NO FUTURE SPOILERS - Season 2 - NO FUTURE SPOILERS

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

The intense hatred smoldering within her eyes is part of what makes her so hot.

I don't care why it smolders.

So if it smoldered for S.C.A.T., you'd still hit it?

Just because someone is revmoved from a group of survivors, doesn't mean that the removed people are worse off. I believed Goodwin when he talked about the children being better off, and that only good people were taken (only good people are on the list, and only people on the list get taken).

I never said those peeps were worse off. Still, keep one thing in mind. Good people would want to tell the other people who weren't taken that they're ok. It's in their nature. Thus, they have to be captive in some way.

So, if "Henry Gale" was after Locke, it would be because the Others consider Locke to be a good person. As far as we know (unlike Kate, unlike Sawyer, unlike Jack, unlike Anna) Locke hasn't done anything to kill anybody.

Why hasn't Henry said anything before? He's been alone with Locke several times.

As far as recasting Anna & Libby... no. I think they like who they got.

My point was that I'm sure the plan wasn't to kill Anna this quickly. If Libby gets her own show and can't do Lost, then it does make the tail section people look like a waste of time. Unless they plan to expand Bernard, Echo, or Cindy's parts.

As far as Libby... I don't think she's dead. She had two gut shots. In TV terms, that's a survivable injury, especially on an island that can make cripples walk and cure cancer. Plus there's no "Libby is dead" buzz in the media.

She took two? I thought it was only one. Thus, "accidental".

I'm nto sure I understand the question. If you mean that as the accronym, then no, I don't see how it would bother me if a woman hated the South Coast Area Transit. And if you meant it as the icky term, then I don't mind if she hates that, either. I'm not into it myself.

Unless they had a damn good reason not to.

Judging from the abduction style they've been using, the Others (if they are good after all) can't risk exposing the truth to the people left behind.

My point was that I'm sure the plan wasn't to kill Anna this quickly. If Libby gets her own show and can't do Lost, then it does make the tail section people look like a waste of time. Unless they plan to expand Bernard, Echo, or Cindy's parts.

Personally, I think Echo was the best thing to come out of the tail section even before Anna died. Not really a fan of hers.

She took two? I thought it was only one. Thus, "accidental".

It was an accident. Michael just double-tapped the shot. Two in the abdomen. Good enough to be fatal if they want, but not as surely fatal as Anna's bullet. This way she can be written in or out depending.

I said smoldered "for" not against, and yes, I meant the icky. Thus, you do care why it smolders.

I've never known anyone to smolder with intense hatred becasue they like something ... that doesn't make any sense.

All I'm saying is if a woman looks like she hates me - I mean really hates me with a passion - I find that a bit of a turn on. There's nothing wrong with that, is there?

I was taking your smoldering the other way, to passion.

Being turned on by hatred towards you? Isn't that what got George Costanza hot?

Not if they're taken to a place where there are limited supplies, and then shown that just about every other 815 survivor is a killer. Or maybe they were taken back to the real world?
So while I don't deny that they're *probably* held there against their will, there's probably good reason. And maybe they realize that they're better off, and shouldn't go back (because of infection?) so they don't.
There's not enough detail to tell anything for sure right now. My guess is a good as the next.

Why hasn't Henry said anything before? He's been alone with Locke several times.

Lost is the show where people don't talk to each other. If they talked, the island's mysteries would have been solved a long time ago.
I think Henry didn't talk because of what Alvar Hanso would do to him. (The guy with the beard is a nobody, he's "nothing." Alvar [my best guess] is the guy who's really running the show.) Now that Henry sees himself in greater peril at the hands of the 815 survivors, he's willing to talk a bit more to Locke. Keep in mind that Henry knows quite a bit about the survivors, probably a lot more than the survivors themsleves know about each other.

My point was that I'm sure the plan wasn't to kill Anna this quickly. If Libby gets her own show and can't do Lost, then it does make the tail section people look like a waste of time. Unless they plan to expand Bernard, Echo, or Cindy's parts.

Anna died because of off-the-set stuff. From what I hear, she wanted a short contract, but ended up liking the show and island life, so she wanted to stay.
As far as Libby goes, I assume she was shot in the gut so that she could talk and finish off her story if need be, or she can recover if he's availble next season.

I think the point of the tail section people was to show more about The Others, and to get introduce Mr. Eko and Bernard (who Rose kept insisting was alive since the begining). Mr. Eko and Locke are supposed to have significant roles in the future.

None of that makes sense. If Henry was sent for Locke, he would get Locke and leave. "Nuff said. Remember, these are the same "Others" who would kidnap tailies in the middle of the night. Why not do that to Locke? Why wait until now?

Henry was on his way to camp when Danielle caught him in the net.

Henry stayed in the hatch after Locke was trapped. There has to be a reason why he's staying.

The only time Henry had a chance to take Locke was after the blast door was raised. We know he was helping Locke with his wound when Sayid's group returned to the hatch, but we don't know how much time.

If you're saying that Locke could have been taken earlier, maybe he wasn't ready yet. Goodwin thought that Anna could become good.

Locke's status with the monster sure changed. He faced it once, and it tried to drag him down a hole later.

I was just talking to someone that Libby might have survived b/c of the blanket.

Also can someone tell what happened at the end. My DVR didn't get it. Jack was going give Libby some heroin and Hurley was standing by. Then it cut out. What happened? What were the scenes from next week?

I'm still not sure Libby is going to die. Remember the increased healing and Locke being able to walk. She can recover, I think that it will depend on what happens outside of the show.

Sweet!
Best move: ABC promises no repeats and no bait-and-switch recap shows for "Lost." Instead, the series will air for seven straight weeks, take a break, then come back late winter for a sprint to the finish. The reruns and unpredictable schedule irritated fans and damaged the series this past season after it started the fall as TV's biggest buzz show.

-Hindsight being 20/20 do you think the Lost people wish they could go back and recast Anna Lucia and Libby?
What do you mean? Get other actresses entirely, or cast those two in more permenant roles?

I can't believe they've killed off both the hot latina zombie chick and Erin Titus. The hottie count on Lost is dropping fast.
She wasn't hot.

I'm glad I waited to watch the last 10 episodes together(ish). Each week the show builds up to something, then it deflates by answering it or avoiding it in usually lame ways.

Most often, it's cuz people are stupid. My wife has taken to "seeing who has the Lost brain" each week, since only one person is capable of decent thought at a time.

I dunno, I think we'll Tivo the first 6/7 episodes to watch since they are supposed to be grouped together somehow, then Tivo/wait for the rest.

Watching this show weekly isn't worth it.
